Client Responsibilities

  1. Please make sure your kitchen area is clean including empty counter space, empty dishwasher, and shelf space in the fridge.

  2. Children and pets should be out of the kitchen area while cooking to  ensure there are no problems or accidents while cooking.

  3. We ask that you allow the chef to perform their professional services in your kitchen without interruptions.

  4. Please provide the chef with a working oven, stove top, grill, and food containers.

  5. Confirm arrival or drop off times with your chef.   

Chef Responsibilities

  1. CHEF will make sure the kitchen equipment is working properly including but not limited to the stovetop, oven, garbage disposal, any handles (cabinets, stove, etc.).

  2. CHEF will let client know when they will be arriving/getting food delivered with a time estimate. If the client will not be able to receive the food or the food can not be held by the doorman, The Chef will arrive at client's home when the food window starts. e.g., a delivery expected from 11am-12pm the Chef would arrive at 11 am to ensure proper food temperatures.

  3. CHEF will make sure to leave all surfaces, handles, bottles/containers clean of any food debris. Floors will be swept and mopped if needed.

Meal Prep Cancellation Policy

Recurring Meal Prep Session Clients can reschedule or cancel up to 7 days prior to their scheduled session, without penalty.

If a cancel is requested less than 7 days prior to the scheduled session, client will still be responsible for 50% of the session fee.

If a cancel is requested less than 48 hours before the session, client will be responsible for 100% of the session fee and can be charged for any food or supplies already purchased.

Meal Prep Package Clients can reschedule their session 7 days prior to their session as long as:

  • The Personal Chef has availability

  • Date is within the allowable time period of their package (e.g., 90 days from purchase for the 3-session package).

Requests to cancel or reschedule outside of these terms will result in the forfeit of that session without refund.

There is no refund of the Package once purchased.

Event Cancellation + Deposits

Special occasion and event meals require a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your event date. Clients are allowed to reschedule their event one time within 48 hours without penalty.

If the client cancels after 48 hours (2 days) they will be charged 100% of the event cost and be charged for any food or supplies already purchased.
